Solar-Cult® dipslides were developed to provide an inexpensive, fast, simple method for detecting microbial contamination in suspect liquids. The dipslides come in a sterile vial, they are double sided, enabling simultaneous examination of test specimens with two different selective media.
Nutrient Agar w/TTC will grow most bacteria and the colonies will appear a distinct, easy-to-read red color.
Malt Extract Agar is designed to grow yeast and molds.
